With Hiroshima and Nagasaki we had a tragic example of what a nuclear war can possibly mean. Now that many nuclear weapons are at disposal of the greatest powers it would mean the end of civilization and maybe of life on Earth. The Europe that was the cradle of civilization and is now a great democracy must promote peace and first of all nuclear disarmament.

From nuclear energy for peaceful uses we can have unlimited resources for life, from nuclear energy for military use only destruction and the planet’s death.
